A complete rock failure process usually involvesopening/sliding of preexisting discontinuities as well as fracturing in intact rock bridges to form persistent failure surfaces and subsequent motions of the generated rock blocksThe recently developed numerical manifold method(NMM)has potential for modelling such a complete failure processHowever,the NMM suffers one limitation,i.e.,unexpectedmaterial domain area change occurs in rotation modellingThis problem can not be easily solved because the rigidbody rotation is not represented explicitly in the NMM.Thediscontinuous deformation analysis(DDA) is specially developed for modelling discrete block systems.The rotationinduced material area change in the DDA modelling canbe avoided conveniently because the rigid body rotation isrepresented in an explicit form.In this paper,a transitiontechnique is proposed and implemented to convert a NMMmodelling to a DDA modelling so as to simulate a completerock failure process entirely by means of the two methods,in which the NMM is adopted to model the early fracturingas well as the transition from continua to discontinua,whilethe DDA is adopted to model the subsequent motion of thegenerated rock blocks.Such a numerical approach also improves the simulation efficiency greatly as compared with acomplete NMM modelling approach.The fracturing of arock slab with pre-existing non-persistent joints located ona slope crest and the induced rockfall process are simulated.The validity of the modelling transition from the NMM tothe DDA is verified and the applicability of the proposed numerical approach is investigated.  相似文献

对脆性材料的第一主应力--拉应力裂纹扩展准则进行了补充和修正,修正的裂纹扩展准则能确定裂纹扩展步长.以平面斜置裂纹扩展为例,利用无网格Galerkin方法,对不含裂隙水压的二维裂纹扩展进行数值模拟,计算结果与试验结果一致,表明最大周向拉应力准则的正确性.在不同裂隙水压条件下,研究了二维裂纹初始破裂,并在给定水压下对二维裂纹扩展路径进行了数值模拟跟踪.结果表明裂隙水压对裂纹初始破裂方向、破裂步长、破裂载荷和裂隙岩体破裂强度有显著影响.有水压和无水压的扩展迹线不同,但后续的扩展趋势相同.  相似文献

输水系统管道的泄漏影响瞬变水击波波形的畸变和衰减特性,对泄漏的定位和定量是泄漏辨识研究的重要环节.考虑水力瞬变中非恒定摩阻的影响,将泄漏参数反映在建立的管道瞬变流时域数学模型中,给出离散网格和求解方法,分析不同泄漏参数对瞬变水击波的影响,用遗传算法结合瞬变流时域模型的特征线法最小化管道测点压力实测和计算响应值的均方误差来辨识泄漏参数,其中实测信号首先经过预滤波和小波去噪处理.通过模型试验对瞬变流数学模型和泄漏反问题分析模型作了率定和验证,结果表明此法能有效的辨识出小泄漏参数,并且检测信号主动,阀门扰动可操作性强.  相似文献

Within the framework of the model of two interpenetrating continua, a horizontal laminar dilute-suspension flow in a vertical Hele-Shaw cell is investigated. Using the method of matched asymptotic expansions, an asymptotic model of the transverse migration of sedimenting particles is constructed. The particle migration in the horizontal section of the cell is caused by an inertial lateral force induced by the particle sedimentation and the shear flow of the carrier phase. A characteristic longitudinal length scale is determined, on which the particles migrate across the slot through a distance of the order of the slot half-width. The evolution of the particle number concentration and velocity fields along the channel is studied using the full Lagrangian method. Depending on the particle inertia parameter, different particle migration regimes (with and without crossing of the channel central plane by the particles) are detected. A critical value of the particle inertia parameter corresponding to the change in migration regime is found analytically. The possibility of intersection of the particle trajectories and the formation of singularities in the particle number concentration is demonstrated.  相似文献

针对煤层气井的压裂特点和产出机理,综合应用流体力学、线弹性断裂力学、传热学、计算数学和软件工程等方面的知识,提出了煤层压裂裂缝三维延伸模型和产量动态预测模型,其中裂缝三维延伸模型考虑了煤层、上下遮挡层之间的地应力和岩石力学参数变化的影响,产量动态预测模型考虑了煤层气先解吸扩散后渗流入井的产出机理。在此基础上研制了煤层气井三维压裂优化设计软件,并通过实例计算验证了其实用性和可靠性。  相似文献

The results of a numerical simulation of the interaction between a hydraulic fracture propagating under plane-strain conditions in an infinite impermeable elastic medium and an already existing natural fault are presented. The fracture is created by an incompressible Newtonian fluid injected at a constant flow rate from a source located at its center; the behavior of the fault is described by a dry friction model of the Mohr-Coulomb type. The results obtained are in agreement with the available studies in this field of research.  相似文献

The long-wave equations describing three-dimensional shear wave motion of a free-surface ideal fluid are rearranged to a special form and used to describe discontinuous solutions. Relations at the discontinuity front are derived, and stability conditions for the discontinuity are formulated. We derive a novel integral equation relating the fluid pressure in a finger-like hydraulic fracture to the fracture width. By means of an asymptotic analysis in the small height to length ratio limit we are able to establish the action of the integral operator for receiving points that lie within three distinct regions: (1) an outer expansion region in which the dimensionless pressure is shown to be equal to the dimensionless width plus a small correction term that involves the second derivative of the width, which accounts for the nonlocal effects of the integral operator. The leading order term in this expansion is the classic local elasticity equation in the PKN model that is widely used in the oil and gas industry; (2) an inner expansion region close to the fracture tip within which the action of the elastic integral operator is shown to be the same as that of a finite Hilbert transform associated with a state of plane strain. This result will enable pressure singularities and stress intensity factors to be incorporated into analytic models of these finger-like fractures in order to model the effect of material toughness; (3) an intermediate region within which the action of the Fredholm integral operator of the first kind is reduced to a second kind operator in which the integral term appears as a small perturbation which is associated with a convergent Neumann series. These results are important for deriving analytic models of finger-like hydraulic fractures that are consistent with linear elastic fracture mechanics. By means of modified iteration method, this paper gives approximate solution of the large deflection equations of circular corrugated plate with sine-shaped shallow waves having a central platform under uniform lateral load. A formula of initial modification coefficient is given, and an integral is obtained for the simplification of modified iteration calculations. The results of present paper show better agreement with experimental data and larger applicable range than all other existing solutions of corrugated plates.  相似文献
